Tanya is an Associate in the Corporate team.
Expertise in a wide variety of areas of corporate law including mergers and acquisitions, corporate group reorganisations, shareholder arrangements, share transfers and share buybacks, investments, corporate governance and general company and partnership law.
Clients include successful SMEs and owner managed businesses and national and international business across a wide-range of sectors, including energy, manufacturing and trade, hospitality and logistics. Tanya works with clients to keep the work as efficient and streamlined as possible, taking a sensible approach to the matter in hand.
Recent examples of how Tanya has supported clients include:
- Forming part of the team that advised the Geary family on the investment into Geary’s Bakeries Limited, a large Leicester-based bakery, by the founders of Aimia Foods.
- Advising the sellers of Power Control Ltd on the sale to French headquartered digital infrastructure specialist Legrand S.A;
- Advising the management team and shareholders of Casepak and Oceala, the Leicester based materials recycling and collections business, on its buy out by EMK Capital backed Reconomy Group;
- Advising the seller of Britaniacrest Recycling Limited on the sale to French headquartered renewable energy producer, Qair.
- Completion of numerous group reorganisations involving various steps including capital reductions and share for share exchanges; and
- Advising the UK’s leading home furnishing retailer on the purchase of certain assets from the world’s leading manufacturer of window coverings.
