Alice is an Associate in the Family team.
She supports clients on a range of family law matters including divorce, separation, financial disputes, private children matters and emergency applications. She also advises on prenuptial, postnuptial and cohabitation agreements to protect family wealth.
Alice’s clients include high net worth individuals, such as business owners, directors, professionals and individuals in the public eye. She is experienced in handling financial matters which involve complex investments, extensive business interests and assets located overseas.
Alice is a committed member of Resolution, the national association for family lawyers aiming to resolve matters as constructively, and with as little conflict as possible. Where possible, she focuses on negotiating out-of-court settlements to avoid court proceedings.
Examples of how Alice has recently supported client include:
- Supporting a wife in a heavily disputed financial case where the asset base was made up of complex investment structures and business interests, which settled out of court.
- Advising a husband on post-separation assets and income including substantial bonuses.
- Acting for the father in his application to prevent the mother moving permanently abroad with his child.
- Obtaining a freezing injunction against a husband's assets where the wife had reason to believe that money was going to be moved out of the jurisdiction.
