Chris is a Senior Associate in the Asset Management and Development teams.
Specialising in commercial real estate matters, he supports clients with their property developments including acquisitions and disposals, development finance, options, pre-emption agreements and conditional contracts.
Experienced in commercial leases and associated matters including licenses, assignments, subletting, variations, renewals, breaks and surrenders. He also supports clients with refinancing, real estate investment and development.
Clients include owner-managed businesses, property developers, local authorities and pension funds.
Recent examples of how Chris has supported clients include:
- the sale of a West Midlands based leisure facility to a football club as part of the upgrade to their training facilitates;
- supporting a housing developer to obtain financing from Homes England in relation to a new residential housing development in Birmingham;
- acted for a restaurant chain in the grant of a new lease and the subsequent regeneration of a prominent site in Solihull Town centre; and
- managed the property aspect of a company restructure in respect of a portfolio worth in excess of £25m.
