She also provides bespoke advice in relation to the preparation of Wills, estate planning, inheritance tax and asset protection.

Louise also works with a number of trusted financial advisors, to help people organise and manage their affairs.

Her clients include private individuals, business owners, the agricultural community, executors, trustees and attorneys.

Recent examples of how Louise has supported clients include:

  • an estate administration which had multiple challenges, including a missing will, an estranged child, who attempted to make a claim against the estate, a property with a development plot and planning issues and charges against the title. All were eventually resolved with the proceeds being distributed to the charitable beneficiary;
  • setting up life time trusts for a husband and wife, to enable them to makes gifts into trust, as part of their inheritance tax planning strategy; and
  • working with a family over several years, supporting both the parents and the children. Preparing powers of attorney and wills and then ultimately dealing with the estates of both parents, on behalf of the children/executors who both lived abroad. Assisting and getting to know the family over a period of many years and helping them navigate the legal processes during difficult times.
