Nisha is a Partner in the Asset Management and Banking teams.
Experienced in the non-contentious aspects of real estate, real estate finance and development finance, including land acquisitions, sales and purchases, financing arrangements and day-to-day portfolio management. The majority of Nisha's work involves high value real estate and development financing transactions, new build or redevelopment projects and complex landlord and tenant arrangements calling for bespoke lease terms and unique structuring arrangements. Alongside this she provides more general landlord and tenant and portfolio management advice on lease renewals and surrenders, consents to assignment and subletting, licences to carry out alterations and termination provisions.
Clients include national retailers banks, investors, pension funds, private equity groups and venture capitalist organisations. Her clients include Cambridge and Counties Bank Ltd, Paragon Development Finance Limited, Redwood Bank Limited, Handelsbanken, Poundstretcher Ltd, SIG plc, Reel Cinemas Ltd, and Shearer Property Group.
Recent examples of how Nisha has supported clients include:
- acting for a lender on the refinance of a 195 unit holiday park with a mixed use of holiday homes, second homes, residential with a complex planning structure and planning breaches;
- acting for lender providing development finance for the funding of the purchase of a former care home and its development into 26 self-contained one and two-bedroom residential apartments;
- acting advising SIG plc on the development and lease of their flagship hub near Heathrow with a rent in excess of £2million per annum; and
- acting for a lender in respect of the refinance of a portfolio of multi let units and a shopping centre.
