Paul is an Associate in our Dispute Resolution team.
Paul is an experienced litigator who handles disputes on behalf of individuals and businesses.
He has experience in dealing with a wide variety of matters including business disputes, shareholder disputes, landlord and tenant issues, debt recovery and property disputes.
Paul has experience in resolving matters through mediation and also expertise and experience in County Court matters.
He has extensive commercial experience from working in a variety of industries including large multi-nationals, the manufacturing sector as well as public sector law enforcement.
Paul works on behalf of limited companies, partnerships and individuals in variety of matters including commercial litigation, shareholder disputes and debt recovery, property ownership and boundary disputes and landlord and tenants issues.
Examples of how Paul has supported clients include:
- Acting for an individual in a proprietary estoppel claim and negotiating a substantial settlement.
- Negotiated a significant settlement on behalf of a director / shareholder where the other shareholders were refusing to allow the client to realise his equity in the business.
- Successfully recovering damages for an individual whose property had been damaged by a local business.
- Obtained the withdrawal of a claim by an estate agent seeking a substantial payment of fees in a high value house sale.
- Negotiated through mediation a settlement in a dispute over the ownership of shares enabling the client to realise a substantial value of his shareholding.
