Paul is a Partner in the Asset Management team.
With extensive experience across a wide range of real estate transactions, Paul specialises in advising his clients on their acquisitions, disposals, landlord and tenant work and in their property development.
Acting for a broad range of clients including regional house builders, manufacturing clients, healthcare facility developers and care home operators, Paul advises on complex agreements concerning overage, planning promotion, joint venture, forward funding, secured lending and property development agreements.
He has specialist knowledge of the fast moving specialised supported housing sector which he has gained whilst sitting as chairman of the board of directors of a local housing association. Paul also works closely with a number of local charities and non for profit organisations, assisting them with the management of their retail, trading and investment premises.
Paul supports clients with the negotiation and structuring of their acquisitions, disposals, leases and property finance and development work, typically in deal ranges from £500,000 to upwards of £10m.
Clients include owners and directors of SMEs in sectors as diverse as manufacturing, construction, housing and regeneration and healthcare.
Recent examples of how Paul has supported clients include:
- supporting a national property developer on their multi million pound sale of a portfolio of newly constructed specialised supported residential accommodation to a large REIT;
- working with a regional house builder on their acquisition, development and sale of residential homes across the South Yorkshire, Lincolnshire and Bassetlaw areas as well as advising on their growth strategy;
- guiding a large regional pharmaceutical chain on their rentals of new pharmacy premises and on the acquisition of multiple high value investment properties; and
- supporting a local charity in its transformative redevelopment of a mixed use site in the heart of Sheffield.
