Rachel is a Senior Associate in the Employment team.

Rachel is an experienced advisor, litigator and investigator. She also regularly provides training sessions to clients on a variety of topics including:

  • managing poor performance and misconduct issues;

  • handling employee grievances;

  • dealing with flexible working requests; and

  • reorganisation and redundancy.

Clients include senior executives, owner-managed businesses and household name businesses in several different sectors, including film and entertainment, retail and hospitality.

Recent examples of how Rachel has supported clients include:

  • carrying out an extensive investigation into a grievance brought by an employee who alleged wrongdoing on the part of the MD and CFO, and producing a detailed report, to include findings and commercial recommendations;

  • conducting a number of investigations into allegations of discrimination and harassment, and producing detailed findings and recommendations;

  • successfully representing an employer client in defending employment tribunal claims for unfair dismissal and discrimination; and

  • advising client through a complex restructuring programme, which involved redundancy and the variation of employees' terms and conditions.
