Sarah is a Solicitor in the Commercial team
Supporting clients on all aspects of commercial law which includes advising clients on commercial contracts, including contracts for the supply of goods and services, confidentiality agreements, framework agreements, terms and conditions and e-commerce terms.
Currently on long-term secondment in the strategic procurement division of a major international engineering company in the aviation industry, Sarah’s role includes advising, drafting and negotiating a wide range of contracts of varying complexities, contract interpretation and business engagement worldwide. The role has given her an understanding of how legal advice plays a part in making critical business decisions.
Recent examples of how Sarah has supported clients include:
- Assisting with providing day-to-day support for the in-house legal team across a number of teams at a major international engineering company in the aviation industry;
- Negotiating, and providing drafting support for, complex procurement contracts for new suppliers including provisions for liquidated damages, production readiness and failure to deliver provisions;
- Supporting with the drafting, negotiation and finalisation of two complex novation agreements in tight timescales to novate all the client’s critical contracts with a supplier to two separate purchasers.
