Sarah is a Senior Associate in the Asset Management and Development teams.

Working for commercial clients in the acquisition and disposal of freehold and leasehold properties. Sarah undertakes due diligence, negotiates conditional contracts and related documentation for acquisitions, whether for new builds on pre-let agreements or for their existing units.  Sarah also undertakes separate secured lending work for banks.

Providing management support to clients on their leasehold portfolios, advising on secured lending and negotiating the required documents. Sarah supports corporate clients in their asset or share purchases and disposals, negotiating the property aspects of corporate transactions or restructuring.

Clients include national retailers and property investors, corporate occupiers mainly in the leisure and retail sectors. She also acts for lenders including HSBC and Lloyds Bank.

Recent examples of how Sarah has supported clients include:

  • completing the disposal of an investor’s hotel in a £2.2m deal involving the negotiation and drafting of the asset sale agreement;
  • acting for a nightclub operator in its acquisition of a cocktail bar from administrators;
  • completing the £13m refinancing of a caravan park for a challenger bank within a very limited time frame; and
  • concluding the £5.5m purchase of a mixed-use business centre comprising serviced offices and residential flats for an investor, and advising it on its new role as commercial management agent of the centre.
