Venezia is an Associate in the Planning team. 

She is dual qualified as both a Chartered Town Planner (Member of the Royal Town Planning Institute) and a Member of the Chartered Institute of Highways and Transport, with over two decades experience working in the fields of town planning, and transport planning, encompassing both private and public sector practice.

Venezia provides clients with planning advice on a range of town planning issues. Her work includes pre-application advice, the preparation of planning applications and appeal statements. She takes a particular interest in schemes where matters of transport and infrastructure are key considerations in the decision-making process. Working for landowners, housebuilders, local businesses, and the public sector.

When working as part of a multi-disciplinary project team as a Transport Planner, she provides specialist transport planning input and her work includes liaison with the local highway authority, the production of scoping studies, transport and access statements, transport statements, travel plans, and transport project work.

Recent examples of how Venezia has supported clients include:

  • supporting Lincolnshire County Council with recent project work considering walking and cycling connectivity improvements to housing and town centres. This comprised a desk-based study for Phase 1 reviewing Industrial/Business Estates in Greater Lincolnshire and Rutland; and detailed site assessment for Phase 2 focused on the towns of Gainsborough and Sleaford;
  • preparing a Residential Travel Plan for Sleaford Road / Dunston Road Metheringham; and
  • preparing a Supporting Planning Statement and Transport Statement, and submitting a Planning Application for HMP Lincoln Temporary Car Park, Greetwell Road, Lincoln.
