During this current health crisis, families are finding themselves having to spend forced long periods of time together at home through social distancing/isolating and confinement. With the majority of children now being schooled from home and many people, wherever possible, working from home the challenges faced by many families in close proximity with one another is unprecedented.

For many however, they will be forced to spend long periods of time confined with a controlling or violent partner whose behaviour has now been heightened further due the pandemic.

Domestic violence or abuse includes all kinds of physical, psychological, sexual, financial and emotional abuse. It can also include threats, criticism and harassment as well as coercive control through humiliation and intimidation.

If you would like any further information on any of the above, or would like to discuss your particular circumstances and how Knights could help, please contact a member of our Family team.
