Andrew Pilkington

As Chief Commercial Officer, Andrew leads Knights’ sector-based approach to strategic client growth. He coordinates the sector groups across the business, bringing together market insight, client relationships and specialist expertise to identify priority opportunities and deepen business relationships with existing and prospective clients.

Andrew provides direction on significant growth opportunities, ensuring that clients, markets and the broader commercial context are fully understood.. He brings together the right combination of sector knowledge, service line expertise and relevant experience so that the business is represented with authority and its full capability is evident in pitches, tenders and strategic client conversations.

An experienced commercial lawyer with particular expertise in aviation and aerospace, Andrew brings a practical understanding of how organisations operate and the commercial pressures that shape their decisions.  This perspective enables him to recognise opportunities that extend beyond an immediate requirement, connect expertise from across the business and support the development of broader, more enduring client relationships.

Andrew works closely with the CXO to align strategic growth priorities with the operational capabilities of the business. Together, they ensure that the requirements created by new opportunities and evolving client needs are understood, supported and reflected in the development of Business Services.

His leadership is defined by connectivity, strategic judgement and a strong instinct for client opportunity. Andrew remains focused on strengthening Knights’ sector-led approach, expanding strategic client relationships and ensuring that the business brings the full breadth of its expertise to the markets and clients it serves.
