Jordan Martin

Jordan advises across a broad range of commercial property matters, with particular expertise in real estate finance.

He works with a diverse client base spanning property investors, developers, landlords, tenants, banks, financial institutions, borrowers, charities and public bodies.

Jordan advises on the full spectrum of secured lending matters, including development finance, investment acquisitions and portfolio refinancing across commercial and residential asset classes, alongside acting for borrowers in secured lending transactions.

He also advises property investors on the acquisition and disposal of commercial and mixed-use premises, acts for developers throughout all stages of development transactions, and supports landlords and tenants on leases of commercial premises across a wide range of sectors (including industrial, manufacturing, retail, leisure and hospitality).

Jordan is also experienced in non-contentious telecoms law, including advising on the Electronic Communications Code and the commercial and practical considerations arising from telecoms property matters.

• Overseeing the acquisition of three new industrial units for a South Wales-based manufacturing client.
• Acting for a charity in relation to various acquisitions of properties to house homeless people in Wales.
• Acting for a charity on the acquisition of its new headquarters, including negotiating complex development documents with the council.
• Acting for a developer in relation to the refurbishment of a listed building and subsequent lettings of commercial and residential units.
• Supporting on the acquisition of a five-acre, mixed-use site on the outskirts of Cardiff for a local developer, involving negotiating a complex development agreement.
