Perdeep advises across a range of contractual disputes.
He provides commercial and practical advice to directors and shareholders of SMEs, large enterprises, and high-net-worth clients on shareholder disputes, debt recovery matters, professional negligence claims and commercial contract disputes.
Perdeep advises architects, developers, employers, main contractors, contract administrators and subcontractors on all types of construction disputes including payment issues, final account disputes, defects and poor workmanship, extensions of time, breaches of contract and negligence claims.
He is regularly instructed, to deal with matters by pursuing and defending claims in the County Courts, High Court and Court of Appeal, or by all forms of alternative dispute resolution including adjudication proceedings, mediation, and expert-determination.
Examples of Perdeep’s work include:
- Advising a leading bulk liquid storage facility on a project to import, store and export a propane facility with a project value of £51 million.
- Advising on a breach of warranty claim of £35 million arising from the sale of a civil engineering business.
- Advising on a sports hall development in Essex with a project value of £4 million.
- Being instructed by a liquidator to advise in relation to a joint venture construction dispute with a project value of £3 million.
- Being instructed by a consultant relating to a mechanical and electrical service design dispute with a project value of £2.1 million.
