Rachel is a Commercial Real Estate Senior Associate.
Rachel advises investors, landlords, occupiers and business owners across a wide range of commercial property matters, helping clients buy, sell, lease, finance and manage property assets.
She has particular expertise in landlord and tenant work, including negotiating commercial leases, lease renewals, rent reviews and asset management matters.
Rachel also advises on commercial property and investment transactions, carrying out property due diligence, investigating title issues and identifying potential risks, alongside supporting lenders and borrowers with real estate finance matters including secured lending and property finance transactions, managing property due diligence and security documentation.
Examples of Rachel’s work include:
- Acting on the sale of a mixed-use property portfolio, dealing with title issues, leasehold interests and transaction documents to ensure the sale completed successfully within a tight timeframe.
- Advising a commercial landlord on the letting of business premises, negotiating lease terms that protected the landlord’s position while supporting the long-term value of the investment.
- Advising on a secured lending transaction, carrying out property due diligence, satisfying lender requirements, and completing the security documentation.
- Leading on the property aspects of a business acquisition, advising on title matters, occupational leases and property-related risks to help deliver the wider transaction objectives.
