Sara is a Commercial Real Estate Partner.
With more than 10 years’ experience, Sara specialisies in real estate, with particular experience in residential and mixed-use developments.
With experience advising on developments across the South East and further afield, Sara works with a varied range of clients including housebuilders, PLCs, SMEs, property developers, land promoters, land traders, professional administrators and landowners.
She advises on transactions involving acquisition and disposal of land (both immediate and long-term), including conditional, unconditional, and subject-to-planning contracts; funding arrangements, including with traditional banks and Homes England; real estate contracts including build contracts, development agreements, and JCT; option, promotion, collaboration, and joint venture agreements; deeds of grant and release; site set-up and disposal strategy; title due diligence, clawback agreements and overage agreements; and affordable housing transactions.
Examples of Sara’s work include:
- Advising a PLC developer on a £600 million scheme for 1,000 new homes in Hounslow.
- Acting for a top-20 housebuilder in the multi-million-pound purchase of a serviced parcel within a wider development.
- Supporting a large-scale developer on refinancing their portfolio of properties.
- Acting for a client on their strategic land portfolio from option to eventual purchase or sale.
- Advising a client with multiple development sites on the real estate aspects of their revolving credit facility with a large UK bank.
