Katie is a Commercial Real Estate Senior Associate.
Katie advises across a range of commercial property law matters, specialising in commercial acquisitions and disposals, portfolio management and asset strategy, investment transactions and funding support, and the real estate aspects of corporate deals.
Working with a diverse client base spanning landlords, tenants, landowners, lenders, and borrowers, Katie’s expertise encompasses the grant of commercial leases; deeds of easements; the assignment and transfer of leases; acquisitions and disposals of freehold and leasehold property; licence for alterations and rent deposit deeds; lease obligations; restrictive covenants; refinance transactions; lenders’ instructions; and the acquisition and disposal of businesses.
Examples of Katie’s work include:
- Acting on the refinance of part of a client’s commercial property portfolio to an institutional lender with a facility of up to £20 million.
- Acting on behalf of a property management company in relation to a deed of easement for the laying of electrical cables through land under two different ownerships.
- Acting on an assignment of a commercial market rent lease for a landlord.
- Acting on a share acquisition worth more than £1 million.
