James is a Corporate Partner.
James handles a wide range of corporate and commercial work, with particular expertise in share and asset sales and acquisitions, management buyouts and buy-ins, shareholder agreements and equity structuring, group reorganisations and demergers, corporate joint ventures and partnerships, and company secretarial and compliance
From set-up to succession planning, James advises with owner- and family-owned businesses throughout their lifecycle, working closely with clients to understand their objectives and how their businesses operate.
Examples of James’ work include:
- Advising an Ireland-based group on the acquisition of various businesses in the UK and other jurisdictions.
- Supporting the sale of web-based education business to an international aggregator based in Scandinavia.
- Acting on the purchase of an office furniture wholesaler based in Ireland with divisions in Scotland, England and Poland, and co-ordinating advisers in each jurisdiction.
