With more than 10 years’ experience, Tiran assists clients with the acquisition and disposal of freehold and leasehold properties, commercial property development, secured lending and securities, landlord and tenant transactions and general property portfolio management (including conditional contracts, and agreement for leases and licenses to sublet, assign, or carry out alterations).

Tiran works with corporates, both large and small, commercial lenders, property investors, developers and pension funds. He has also worked alongside international clients, as well as advising on deals where the parties have been based overseas.

Examples of Tiran’s work include:

• Helping a leading European supplier of specialist building solutions to trade customers with their portfolio management, including securing new leases and renewing existing ones, as well as disposal of unwanted sites.
• Working with a national retailer with renewing existing leases securing new leases across its national property portfolio.
• Supporting an estate agency with the real estate aspects of their acquisition including due diligence, landlord consents, transfer of title from the seller to buyer, and post-completion formalities.
• Assisting with the management of portfolios with high levels of lease grants and lease renewals ranging from pure industrial portfolios to mixed portfolios consisting of offices, industrial and retail spaces.
• Advising on corporate transactions with real estate aspects.
• Acting on behalf of a landowner in negotiating wayleave agreements and deed of easements relating to infrastructure installation as well as negotiating a lease of a substation with a national utility provider.
• Assisting a borrower and lender in the £1.5million+ purchase of a holiday park.
