Maryam Collett

Maryam is experienced in commercial real estate matters, with a focus on acquisitions and disposals, property investment and refinancing, portfolio and asset management and landlord and tenant transactions including lease grants, renewals, surrenders and regears.

Maryam has worked on large portfolios of retail, industrial and office premises across the UK. She has provided advice on development finance to major high street banks including Barclays, HSBC and Royal Bank of Scotland.

Examples of Maryam’s work include:

• Acting for the one of the largest privately-owned property and investment businesses, Topland Group, on the management of their assets across the UK, including the sale of Lancaster Gate Hotel in London, the disposal of a multi-let office building in Leeds and the multi-million pound sale of the Saddlers Shopping Centre in Walsall to the local council.
• Acting for property investment and development companies on the acquisition and management of numerous sites across the UK ranging from office blocks to shopping centres.
• Acting for one of the largest fintech companies in the world, Finastra International, on the acquisition of their UK headquarters in Paddington and on the disposal of a major office asset in Nottingham.
• Acting for numerous Oxford Colleges on the management of their assets across Oxford.
• Acting for energy and infrastructure companies on large portfolios of retail, industrial and office premises across the UK.
