Liz Ramsden

Liz regularly receives referrals from other businesses, estate agents, and managing agents from all over the country to act in properties affected by the Building Safety Act 2022 (BSA).

She helped to edit The Law Society guidance on the Act with the Conveyancing Association, and is regularly asked to present on the Act to other professionals.

Examples of Liz’s work include:

• Assisting a managing agent in the preparation of landlord certificates and building a database of qualifying and non-qualifying leases.
• Taking over a file from another firm of solicitors who were unable to act due to the BSA and completing it within a week.
• Advising on the additional obligations brought about by the Act on high-risk buildings.
• Providing advice for landlords as to how they can work within the BSA 2022 to minimise exposure to potential costs.
