Jordan is a Real Estate Disputes Senior Associate.
Jordan assists both private individuals and range of businesses with the resolution of complex property and land-related disputes. This includes various contentious matters affecting both commercial and residential property interests, providing clients with advice tailored to their specific circumstances.
He regularly advises and represents clients in matters involving dilapidations disputes, possession proceedings and claims involving trespass, boundary and title disputes,
easements, rights of way, and restrictive covenant issues, and general property-related disputes and land ownership matters.
Examples of Jordan’s work include:
- Advising and assisting a major commercial landlord with the management of its property portfolio, including the recovery of substantial rent arrears and securing possession of premises following a tenant entering administration.
- Supporting a national household retailer and telecommunications provider in relation to its commercial property portfolio, including lease renewals, lease terminations, and wider landlord and tenant matters.
- Managing and progressing statutory leasehold enfranchisement claims on behalf of a large real estate investment management firm, providing strategic advice throughout the process and ensuring compliance with the relevant statutory framework.
- Achieving a successful outcome for a well-known fast-food chain in contested relief from forfeiture proceedings, protecting the client’s leasehold interest and enabling the continued operation of the business.
