James is a Commercial Real Estate Partner.
James has more than 20 years of experience in working across real estate matters including real estate investment, the sale and purchase of commercial property, development, options to acquire, land promotion agreements and non-contentious lease and asset management (acting for both landlord and tenant), property finance and secured lending. James also provides specialist property advice on corporate transactions.
He acts for a diverse range of clients, including property investors, funds, listed companies, promoters, developers, asset managers, trading businesses and banks.
Examples of James’ work include:
- Acting for an investment fund in the £15 million disposal of a multi-let office building.
- Providing specialist property support in the full refinance of a pub and restaurant group to help it maximise the potential of its portfolio of sites, together with ongoing asset management.
- Assisting in the sale of a leading manufacturer and supplier of meat products, advising on the key property aspects of the transaction.
- Acting in the sale of a retail business including its substantial property portfolio.
