Bio
Jade is a Construction Solicitor.
Jade has experience of reviewing, drafting and negotiating professional consultant framework agreements and appointment documents, letters of reliance, letters of intent and collateral warranty documents to tenants, funders and purchasers.
She supports clients in relation to the construction of contract documents, helping them understand, manage and respond to the legal and commercial issues arising from project documentation.
Jade regularly supports projects for commercial developers, universities and FE colleges and house builders, with helping clients to navigate consultant-led comments and project document challenges through to agreed contractual positions.
She also works on contentious matters where disputes arise in relation to building work.
Examples of Jade’s work include:
- Drafting and negotiating Professional Appointments and Collateral Warranties for universities and further education colleges.
- Supporting a project for the development of a new care home which included drafting and negotiating construction documents.
- Providing support on various construction and engineering projects, including the drafting and negotiation of a number of professional consultant framework agreements for enabling works and infrastructure for a large-scale residential development in Oxfordshire.
