Elin advises across a range of commercial real estate transactions, acting for business owners, lenders, developers, and investors on the acquisition, disposal and financing of property assets.

Her work includes the negotiation of commercial leases, the structuring of landlord and tenant arrangements, and advising on the real estate aspects of funding transactions (including lender-led deals and portfolio security).

She frequently deals with multi-let properties, investment assets and transactions involving ongoing asset management considerations, alongside supporting on the property aspects of corporate transactions (including advising on real estate due diligence, negotiation of transfers, leases, and ancillary property documentation) to ensure issues are identified early, explained clearly, and addressed efficiently.

Elin supports a diverse client base including property companies, developers, banks and private investors, as well as individuals with significant property interests.

• Advising lenders and borrowers on the refinancing of property portfolios, including a review of title and reporting on key risks.
• Acting on the acquisition of an industrial investment property, including the negotiation of contract and completion mechanics.
• Supporting a corporate transaction involving the sales and purchases of trading businesses with property assets, including real estate due diligence and post-completion structuring.
• Negotiating a new lease and agreement for lease on behalf of both landlords and tenants for premises in the a variety of sectors, including key commercial terms such as rent review and break options.
• Acting on a receiver-led sale of a property, managing a time-critical transaction and advising on risk allocation.
• Advising a developer on a portfolio of assets, including asset management work, lease renewals and disposals.
• Advising a bank on security over a property portfolio, including title investigation and reporting in accordance with the bank’s standard instructions.
