Aleesha is an Employment Senior Associate.
Aleesha advises employers across a broad range of employment and strategic HR matters, with particular expertise in helping clients manage sensitive or complex cases, including those likely to have wider commercial, operational or reputational implications.
She works with SMEs, large and international businesses with UK operations across a range of sectors including education, aviation, retail, healthcare, manufacturing and graphic design.
Aleesha supports employers navigate employee relations, including high-risk grievances, discrimination concerns, underperformance, senior exits and restructuring exercises involving collective consultation. She also advises on the employment aspects of mergers and acquisitions, including employment due diligence, transfer issues, and post-completion workforce considerations.
Examples of Aleesha’s work include:
- Conducting a sensitive whistleblowing investigation for a university, helping the client manage process, confidentiality, evidence and reputational considerations.
- Managing a complex disciplinary and grievance process for UK-based airline, supporting the client through overlapping employee relations and procedural issues.
- Negotiating settlement of an employment tribunal claim involving unfair dismissal and whistleblowing for 2% of the amount claimed.
