Ashley is a Solicitor in the Corporate team.
He has experience in advising clients on a wide range of corporate transactional and advisory matters, including share sales and acquisitions, asset sales and acquisitions corporate reorganisations and investments. In addition, he advises on general corporate law matters including drafting bespoke shareholders’ agreements and articles of association and general corporate governance.
Ashley supports a wide range of clients ranging from owner managed SMEs to large international corporates.
Recent examples of how Ashley has supported clients include:
- Advising a corporate client in the Telecommunications sector on its buy and build strategy, including both asset purchases and share purchases.
- Advising a Dutch private equity firm on its £15m investment into a corporate joint venture for the purposes of manufacturing and maintaining a Biodigester Facility.
- Advising a large overseas corporate client on the exit of a member of its senior management team from one of its UK subsidiary companies.
- Advising the shareholders of a Midlands based compressor business on the sale of their shares to a large international buyer.
- Facilitating the corporate restructuring of a large limited liability partnership whose business involved the acquisition, development and running of hotels located in London.
- Advising a new start-up company in the real estate development sector on its initial round of fund raising, including preparing the relevant shareholders’ agreement and bespoke articles of association.
