Michael is a Partner in the Dispute Resolution team.

Specialising in advising how best to avoid disputes and resolve them in the most commercial way, he represents corporate institutions and individuals across a number of jurisdictions.

With experience of high value and complex litigation and cross-border disputes, his work includes contractual disputes, warranty claims, unfair prejudice, disputes relating to the sale and supply of goods and services, restrictive covenants, misuse of confidential information and contested probate claims relating to wills and estates.

Clients range from high net worth individuals and sports clubs to large corporates and Plcs across a range of sectors including healthcare, manufacturing and sport.

Recent examples of how Michael has supported clients include:

  • supporting the sellers of a business in relation to a threatened breach of warranty claim worth in excess of £1m;
  • providing advice to a client who had suffered a catastrophic flood at its premises in relation to a dispute with its insurers as to the extent of coverage; and
