Anita has more than 30 years of experience in the real estate legal industry.

She specialises in complex real estate development projects in both commercial and residential sites, advising on promotion and overage agreements, site acquisition and site assembly, collaboration agreements, dealing with easements and rights of way, the negotiation of sales agreements, payment mechanisms, investment structures, development agreements, leases and eventual disposals.

Anita works with developers, landowners and promoters and is experienced in projects involving business parks, logistics hubs, offices, student accommodation and residential developments.

Anita has also supported several strategic land projects, offering advice to landowners wishing to sell their land to housebuilders, supporting them over the long-term to overcome obstacles.

She also works with planning consultants and tax advisers to create a valuable land parcel which is suitable for development.

Anita has operated as a quasi in-house lawyer on many transactions.

Examples of Anita’s work include:

• Acting on the acquisition, development, letting and funding of two developments of purpose-built student accommodation totalling 790 rooms over a five-year period.
• Advising on the asset lifecycle of numerous multi-million pound warehouse projects.
