Ava is a Disputes Solicitor.
Ava specialises in franchising litigation working with both franchisor and franchisee clients, advising on a range of commercial disputes including breaches of franchise agreements, misrepresentation claims, restrictive covenants and group actions.
She works in all stages of litigation from pre-action right through to hearings and enforcement, supporting clients by drafting pleadings and witness statements, conducting disclosure, preparing for cost management conferences and applying for charging orders. Ava benefits from having gained experience on a six-month in-house secondment to Heathrow Airport’s legal team.
Examples of Ava’s work include:
- Assisting clients manage their networks in the domiciliary care sector, including terminations and engaging in step-in rights.
- Enforcing judgements obtained against the other party through charging orders.
- Actioning letters of claim for debt, breach of contract and misrepresentation and engaging in alternative dispute resolution.
