Ben is a Corporate Partner.
Ben primarily advises owner-managed businesses on exits (and some acquisitions) in a variety of sectors, with much of his work involving sales to private equity or private equity backed businesses.
Although Ben is sector-agnostic and advises owner-managers from a variety of different sectors, he has also worked across professional services (including accountant, IFAs and solicitors), aviation, and real estate.
Ben also has experience in creating and drafting share schemes (including EMI schemes), growth shares and management incentives.
Examples of Ben’s work include:
- Advising Daniel Reid and Oliver Burton of Donald Reid Group accountants on their sale to FLB Accountants LLP.
- Advising Andrew Gerrie and Silverwood Brands plc on its £10 million acquisition of Nailberry.
- Advising high-end airline caterer Niche & Bespoke on its acquisition of Deluxe Catering from PE fund Acluin.
- Advising the shareholders of successful executive search Altus Partners, on their sale to PE-backed LCap Group.
- Acting sell-side on numerous IFAs to consolidators.
