Clare advises a wide range of clients – both regionally and nationally – including businesses, landowners, developers, trusts, pension companies, corporate investors, retailers and warehouse distribution operators and individuals on complex real estate transactions.

She offers advice on acquisitions and disposals, conditional sale contracts, option agreements, overage agreements, developments site purchases and subsequent set-up and secured financing for lenders and borrowers.

Clare also assists with asset management of large-scale property portfolios in both the industrial, office and retail sector, dealing with commercial leases, licences, surrenders, renewals and assignments arising from the landlord and tenant relationship.

Clare has specialist knowledge of the healthcare sector, and has experience working alongside GP partnerships, pharmacies and care home providers. She has also assisted in refinance and property transfers, sale and lease-back arrangements and offering advice around future planning of the partnership.

• Acting on behalf of a family trust with a large property portfolio and assisting with asset management of the same, including acquisitions, lease renewals and dealing with difficult sale negotiations and subsequent sale of an investment property.
• Providing advice and support to a large local family-run agricultural business on a promotion agreement for potential commercial and residential development.
• Advising real estate developers on site acquisitions and subsequent development plans.
• Advising local large-scale metal recycling and waste management company following acquisition of numerous new property sites and assisting with day-to-day asset management.
