Helen acts for clients on a range of commercial real estate transactions across the property lifecycle, supporting landlords, tenants, investors and occupiers to navigate the legal and practical issues that arise when acquiring, disposing of, leasing or managing property assets.

Her expertise spans negotiating and completing leases, renewals, assignments, licences, and other occupational property matters, as well as supporting the acquisition and disposal of offices, retail, industrial, and mixed-use properties.

Examples of Helen’s work include:

• Advising a landlord on the management of a multi-let commercial property portfolio, including lease renewals, licences to alter, assignments, and tenant consent applications.
• Acting for a national occupier in the acquisition of new commercial premises, carrying out due diligence, negotiating transaction documents, and managing completion.
• Supporting a corporate client on the disposal of a commercial asset, coordinating the transaction process, addressing title and property enquiries, and achieving a smooth completion within the required timescales.
• Acting for both landlords and tenants in negotiating and completing lease renewals under the Landlord and Tenant Act 1954.
• Advising on assignments, underleases, licences to assign, and licences for alterations across a range of office, retail, and industrial properties.
• Assisting clients with portfolio management matters, including reviewing and reporting on lease documentation, identifying property-related risks, and providing strategic advice to support asset management decisions.
