Jenny is an Employment Partner.
Jenny specialises in providing commercial, pragmatic and solutions-driven advice to employers on all aspects of employment law – from day-to-day advice through to employment tribunal support.
Her areas of expertise include disputes with, or departures of, senior executives and board members (including advising senior executives on their own departures to maximise any settlement terms); director and shareholder disputes; corporate transactions; large-scale TUPE processes and collective consultation requirements; grievances and investigations (including acting as the investigating officer for grievance and or disciplinary investigations); complex employment tribunals; discrimination and whistleblowing; and data protection matters.
She also designs and delivers bespoke, in-house training sessions for clients and management.
Examples of Jenny’s work include:
- Advising on a large-scale change program of more 150 employees across the whole business and a number of locations within very strict timescales.
- Successfully supporting a shareholder to exit on short notice and on favorable terms to the company client despite there being limited right to do so in the company’s corporate governance documentation.
- Securing the dismissal of an employment tribunal claim on behalf of an employer accused of race discrimination and automatic unfair dismissal.
- Acting as the investigating officer for a national housebuilder in relation to allegations of sexual harassment made against a senior employee.
- Designing and delivering a program of bespoke, in-house training sessions to an employer with a particular focus on preventing sexual harassment.
