Jessica is a Family Associate.
Jessica advises across a range of family law matters, with particular expertise in divorce and financial remedy proceedings, private law children matters, and cohabitation disputes.
She works with a diverse client base spanning individuals, business owners, professionals and large landowners.
Her areas of expertise include high-net-worth divorce cases (including those involving businesses, trusts and redundancy issues); assisting with emergency injunctions such as non-molestation and occupation orders; preparing Consent Orders for settling financial remedy claims upon divorce; advising on the implementation and enforcement of Financial Orders; advising on financial settlement and pensions; supporting with child arrangement matters (including outside of the jurisdiction); managing disputes in relation to declaration of parentage; and matters involving care proceedings and private adoption.
Examples of Jessica’s experience include:
- Advising on a financial remedy matter involving redundancy payments and share-save schemes.
- Advising on payments towards a child as part of a historic financial remedy order.
- Dealing with several complex child arrangements matters, including those involved strained relationships between the parents, and involvement of local authority, police, and the Children and Family Court Advisory and Support Service (Cafass).
- Advising in relation to emergency injunctions, including non-molestation orders and occupations orders.
- Supporting on cases involving numerous asset bases including multiple properties, inheritances, trusts and businesses.
