Joe is a Regulatory Solicitor.
Joe advises across all aspects of licensing and gambling law, with particular expertise in the hospitality, retail, leisure and gambling sectors.
He works with a diverse client base spanning luxury hotel operators, premium and national supermarket chains, international casino and betting operators, global retailers, independent and multinational leisure businesses, cafes, restaurants and licensed premises.
Joe supports businesses at every stage of the licensing process, from initial applications and transactional due diligence through to regulatory compliance, licensing reviews and contested hearings. He also advises on matters arising under the Licensing Act 2003 and Gambling Act 2005, supporting clients to navigate complex regulatory requirements while protecting their commercial objectives.
Joe regularly works with licensing authorities, the police, Environmental Health, Trading Standards, fire authorities, and other responsible authorities to secure pragmatic, commercially-beneficial outcomes.

- Providing specialist licensing advice to a major supermarket operator in relation to remote alcohol sales and regulatory compliance.
