Jon is a Client Services Director.
Jon is a Client Services Director, responsible for leading our business in Newcastle. His focus is on our clients and relationships across Newcastle and Tyneside, combining a strong understanding of the local community with access to expertise across our national network.
Jon works closely with clients to understand what matters to them and the support they need. By bringing together expertise from across our business, he helps ensure clients have access to the right people and advice as their needs develop, whether locally or elsewhere across the country.
His knowledge of the region and the relationships he has developed also enable him to make valuable connections for clients, drawing on both our local relationships and wider national network.
Jon is an active part of the professional and wider community, developing relationships with businesses, individuals, advisers and organisations across the region and strengthening the connections that enable us to support clients both locally and nationally.
Jon is an experienced Private Client lawyer, advising individuals, families, business owners, trustees and executors on inheritance tax and succession planning, wills and powers of attorney, trusts and estate administration. He has particular experience advising high-net-worth individuals and business owners, both in the UK and internationally.
Jon also has significant experience advising athletes and others in the sports sector, particularly football, on their private wealth requirements. His work brings together tax, succession and estate planning to help clients protect their wealth, plan for the future and put appropriate arrangements in place for their families and wider interests.
Jon is a full member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) and chairs its North East and Cumbria branch committee. He is also Vice Chair and a Trustee of FC Hartlepool.
