Her expertise spans sponsor licence strategy and applications, Skilled Worker and Global Talent routes, and high-impact compliance work such as audits, SMS governance and organisational change reporting. She regularly supports businesses through graduate to Skilled Worker transitions, internal role switches, promotions and international recruitment.
Kulsum works closely with HR Directors, Senior Talent Partners and business leaders, providing clear, commercially focused guidance on immigration strategy, risk management and workforce planning. Her work includes reviewing HR systems, right-to-work processes, record-keeping and sponsorship duties to help organisations build resilient compliance frameworks that can adapt to operational change and future growth.
She also advises private clients on family migration, partner and child visas, settlement and British citizenship, offering clarity and reassurance throughout complex, often sensitive processes.
Experience of Kulsum’s work include:
- Managing the full Skilled Worker visa process for a specialist consumer brand, including initial SOC code mapping, eligibility analysis and end-to-end application oversight.
- Providing ongoing sponsorship compliance support to a regulated financial services organisation, advising the Senior Talent and Resource Partner on organisational changes, promotions, graduate switches, extensions and SMS reporting duties.
