Matt is a Real Estate Disputes Senior Associate.
Matt advises clients on complex commercial and residential property disputes.
He works with developers, investors, landlords, tenants, landowners, charities and owner-managed businesses on disputes that can significantly impact the value, development potential and commercial performance of their property interests. Much of his work involves high-value and strategically important matters where clients require clear, commercially focused advice alongside dispute resolution expertise.
Matt has particular expertise in commercial landlord and tenant matters, dilapidations, development land disputes and the interpretation and enforcement of complex property rights. He regularly advises on restrictive covenants, easements, rights of way, overage agreements, conditional contracts and option arrangements, as well as disputes affecting residential and mixed-use developments.
His experience includes acting in multi-million-pound dilapidations disputes, advising on significant property misrepresentation claims, securing the modification of restrictive covenants to unlock development opportunities, and representing landowners in complex easement and access disputes affecting development land.
Matt advises clients across a wide range of sectors where property is a critical business asset or investment.
