Natalie is a Disputes Associate.
Natalie advises clients on a broad range of contentious matters, with a particular focus on agricultural, commercial, probate and professional negligence disputes.
In relation to agricultural disputes, she regularly acts for farmers, landowners and their families in resolving complex disagreements arising from family farming businesses. This includes disputes concerning the dissolution of farming partnerships, ownership of agricultural land and assets, and claims brought under the Trusts of Land and Appointment of Trustees Act 1996 (TOLATA) relating to co-owned property.
Natalie also advises businesses, directors and individuals in a variety of commercial disputes including claims involving breaches of contract, disputes arising from directors’ service agreements, shareholder and partnership issues, and other business-related conflicts.
She also advises on professional negligence disputes involving a range of professionals, including solicitors, accountants and court-appointed deputies, alongside contentious probate matters concerning the validity of wills (including allegations of lack of testamentary capacity, undue influence, fraud, forgery and improper execution).
Natalie has particular expertise in disputes involving agricultural estates, where family, succession and business interests frequently overlap.
Examples of Natalie’s work include:
- Advising on a complex estate dispute involving multiple wills, issues surrounding testamentary validity, a company structure, and a substantial portfolio of residential and commercial properties.
- Acting on behalf of clients following the death of a partner in a farming partnership, advising on a range of interrelated disputes concerning agricultural land, partnership assets, property ownership, boundary issues and challenges to the validity of testamentary documents.
