Bio

Reshma is a Banking & Finance Partner.

With more than 24 years’ experience, Reshma specialises in advising on multi-pound, cross- border and strategically important transactions.

Working with banks, alternative lenders, investors, governmental bodies and corporate borrowers, Reshma’s work spans the full lifecycle of finance work, from early structuring and term sheet negotiation through to due diligence, documentation, completion, and post-completion implementation.

Reshma’s expertise includes negotiating facility agreements (from bilateral to large and complex Loan Market Association syndicated facilities), security documents (including debentures, legal charges, guarantees, deeds of priority, intercreditor and subordination arrangements), and advising on funding structures involving acquisition finance, asset finance, trade finance, real estate finance and development finance.

She also advises on refinancing and restructuring existing debt facilities including amendments, restatements, covenant resets, waiver arrangements and cashflow-driven refinancings, and supports clients with the production of precedent documents and practical processes that help lenders and borrowers approach future transactions more consistently and efficiently.
