Richard is the Director, Residential Property.
Richard Wollacott is Director, Residential Property, with responsibility for the day-to-day operation of Residential Property across our business. With more than 20 years’ experience as a residential property lawyer, he understands both the technical demands of a transaction and the level of service expected by discerning clients.
Richard oversees a distinctly lawyer-led approach to residential property. Clients have direct access to experienced lawyers throughout their transaction, combining technical expertise with the pace, accessibility and responsive communication needed to keep matters moving. He works with colleagues across our locations to maintain these standards consistently, while recognising that every transaction and every client is different.
His experience spans residential sales and purchases across the market, with particular depth in prime and super-prime property, alongside new homes, plot sales and social housing. This breadth gives Richard a strong understanding of transactions ranging from individual home moves to more complex and high-value property matters.
Richard also maintains established relationships with estate agents and housebuilders across the residential property market. His day-to-day oversight, market knowledge and understanding of client expectations help ensure our approach remains personal, responsive and commercially minded, with speed, access and communication at its heart.
