Sophie’s work covers wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney and the onward distribution of estates.
She specialises in complex family situations and succession planning.
Sophie offers sympathetic advice, while maintaining integrity should a conflict arise which cannot be breached with mediation.
Examples of Sophie’s work include:
- Working on a trust dispute where a client identified a shortfall in the funds received, successfully achieving reimbursement for our client plus the recovery of their costs.
- Working on a complex and high-net-worth estate where a father and two sons passed away in close succession, involving issues arising from intestacy laws for a non-UK domiciled family member and unadministered assets from the first death, as well as beneficiaries who were at odds.
