Stephanie Whyatt

Stephanie has been working in the new build sector for more than ten years, working previously for purchasers of new build properties before transferring her skills over to working for property developers. She assists with all aspects of residential property development work.

Stephanie supports small to medium-sized residential property developers in acquiring sites for development purposes, preparing the sites to make them ready for sales and then dealing with disposals of plot sales across various sites.

Her work includes raising searches, reviewing titles, submitting enquiries and drafting title reports for clients to ensure they have all important information before purchasing a new site for development purposes.

Stephanie prepares the necessary documentation to set up a new development site for individual units to be sold including drafting Contract, Transfer and Lease documentation.

She also deals with the disposition of units across residential development sites, with a view to proceeding to exchange contracts within tight timeframes to assist with developer’s build programs.

She liaises with lenders to ensure that sufficient information is provided to enable charges to be redeemed and appropriate discharge documentation approved at an early stage.

Her works also covers post-completion on development sites – including transferring the common areas at development sites over to a Management Company or Managing Agents and ensuring sites are handed over efficiently.

Examples of her work include:

• Completing the sale of numerous residential units across Cornwall, Devon, Somerset and Bristol.
• Advising a client regarding exercising an Option to purchase a second phase of a site over which they had completed all sales across the first Phase.
