Tori is a Commercial Partner.
Tori specialises in UK data privacy compliance and AI governance, having had 20 years legal experience advising on corporate and commercial matters. In the last ten years, she has focused on all aspects of data protection and privacy law – and more recently, AI governance.
She is experienced in understanding the practical and commercial issues faced by in-house counsel.
Tori has led various multi-jurisdictional data privacy advisory projects and data protection audits, recommended pragmatic solutions and assisted clients with implementing governance frameworks to manage privacy risks.
She has particular expertise in the airline and holiday sectors, advising key international airlines on a variety of privacy-related matters and legal risks – including the placement and operation of CCTV and biometric facial recognition technology, data sharing arrangements, international transfers, rights requests, and transparency.
Examples of Tori’s work include:
- Carrying out a review of UK data protection, cookie and marketing compliance for UK franchiser of a chain of health club/gyms and provision of advice regards compliance gaps and recommendations, as well as assistance implementing recommendations.
- Providing high-level advice concerning complex subject access requests for a leading provider of professional corporate training and apprenticeships.
- Providing advice and assistance to a data center cooling service provider, with regard to their implementation of a data protection complaints handling process.
