Bio

Will is a Disputes Partner.

Will advises and represents high-net-worth individuals, entrepreneurs, business owners, companies and professionals on a broad spectrum of contentious matters, often involving significant financial, reputational and commercial risk. His practice encompasses complex commercial contractual disputes, partnership and shareholder disagreements, and claims involving directors’ duties, fiduciary obligations and corporate governance issues. He frequently assists clients with the enforcement of restrictive covenants and the protection of confidential business information, as well as obtaining and defending urgent injunctive relief where immediate court intervention is required.

In addition to his commercial litigation practice, Will has experience in building and construction disputes, professional negligence claims and defamation matters, helping clients protect both their financial interests and professional reputations. He also advises on intellectual property infringement disputes and debt recovery actions.

Will is also experienced in private wealth and property-related litigation, advising on contentious probate claims, constructive trust and proprietary estoppel disputes, and claims brought under the Trusts of Land and Appointment of Trustees Act (TOLATA). He regularly acts in insolvency-related litigation for businesses, directors, creditors and insolvency practitioners.

Examples of Will’s work include:

  • Acting for a national charity in recovering £2.7 million following breaches of an Asset Purchase Agreement, as well as representing a corporate client in the recovery of £1.7 million owed under a loan agreement.
  • Acting for a corporate client in a complex land dispute involving claims exceeding £4 million.
