Zoe is a Disputes Associate.
Zoe advises referring and responding parties on a broad range of general commercial litigation matters.
She has experience in assisting with and handling disputes involving breach of contract, cease and desist actions, and director and shareholder disputes, and has developed specialist expertise in construction litigation.
While Zoe is committed to progressing matters through formal litigation where necessary, she is equally mindful that resolving disputes efficiently and pragmatically can often better serve clients’ interests. She therefore regularly considers and pursues alternative strategies, including settlement and negotiation where appropriate
She works with a diverse client base, ranging from mid-sized to large corporate organisations, as well as private individuals.
Examples of Zoe’s work include:
- Running an adjudication with intricate delay and quantum issues for a client over a tight timeframe after the clients were issued with the papers before a Bank Holiday weekend.
- Overseeing multiple adjudications, including an adjudication regarding a purported final account.
- Assisting in a long-running case of a dispute between two directors.
