Knights advises Qflow on acquisition of J P Chick & Partners

Knights has supported engineering and construction consultants Qflow on its acquisition of J P Chick & Partners.

Qflow, a Swedish consultancy group made up of 41 businesses, boasts a team of more than 1,300 consultants specialising in community development and creating a smarter, more sustainable society.

With a significant presence across Sweden, Norway and Denmark, Qflow entered the UK market earlier this year, supported by Knights, with the ambition to build a leading European specialist consultancy.

Building on a trio of acquisitions as part of that market entry – Caneparo Associates, EAS Transport Planning and Blueprint Project Solutions Ltd – Qflow has added a fourth UK business to its Group, J P Chick & Partners.

J P Chick & Partners Joins Qflow Group

A leading civil, structural and environmental engineering consultancy firm, J P Chick & Partners has offices in Suffolk, Norfolk and Essex, with the teams in those locations providing innovative design solutions across all areas of construction.

Founded in 1988 by its Director, Jon Chick, the business specialises in providing cost-effective, tailored solutions from small domestic schemes to large commercial projects.

This latest acquisition for Qflow strengthens the Group’s position in the UK market and creates an even stronger platform for continued growth, collaboration and knowledge sharing across the UK and the Nordics.

A specialist, multi-disciplinary team at Knights advised Qflow on the acquisition of J P Chick & Partners. The team was led by Corporate Partner, Gareth Burge, supported by Joe Rollins and Ellie Bryan in Corporate, Steve Brunt in Commercial, Laura Clark in Employment, and Rob Pettigrew and Bhavika Patel in Real Estate.
