Knights, the UK’s largest regional legal services business, has underscored its commitment to Carlisle with a move to a new state-of-the-art office at Merchants Drive.
With capacity to expand the space as the number of colleagues grow, the new home features a premium client suite that gives people even better local access to a nationwide team of experts.
The new office also includes a dedicated entertaining and event space for legal updates, thought-leadership events and business networking from Knights’ experts across property, employment, corporate, disputes and more.
The relocation strengthens the Knights' long-term presence in Cumbria and builds on the recent appointments of Senior Associate Lynne McFaul and Associate Natalie Spedding.
It comes after another strong year of growth, with Knights’ annual revenue reaching £208m, up 28% on the previous year, and profit up 19% to £33.2m.
Duncan Harty, Regional Client Services Director at Knights, said:
'Carlisle is an important part of our business and a key market for the future. There is a real sense of excitement among the team about this next chapter. Having outgrown our previous office, this new space better reflects the calibre of our people and the services we provide to our clients.
'We see significant opportunity for growth across Cumbria in the years ahead, and there is no better time to invest in our presence here. The move ensures we have the right people, facilities and resources in place to support the region.'
The move comes amid a period of rapid growth for Knights, as the business transforms professional services around the UK’s regions by giving clients local access to a nationwide team so that, whatever comes up, they get access to the right experts without having to change advisers.
